I don’t have access to a particularly wide range of tools, so I wanted to make sure that I could put these models together using standard modelling tools and adhesives.
The Tools I use
In addition to the obvious use of the 3D printer, I use a standard modelling scalpel, a deburring tool and various files and grades of sandpaper to get the models constructed. For the most part they are glued together using superglue, and the gaps filled with epoxy putty or in some cases UV resin.
The photos on this site were primed using a standard grey rattle-can primer.
