The paintings in the four original Terran Trade Authority Handbooks were painted by a who’s who of Science Fiction artists from the 1970s and 1980s. Their works have inspired generations of artists, myself included, and I will always credit them with the original designs of the spacecraft. While some have since passed away, it is still important that their contribution to this genre of art be recognised. I will therefore not be featuring any scans or reproductions of the original artworks from the books, other than the book cover image on the homepage of this website, as they are either copyright to their original artists, or the right to reproduce them lies with Battlefield Press. I have provided links at the bottom of this page where original copies of the books can be purchased, as well as links to the 40th Anniversary reprint, published by Battlefield Press.

While copies of the originals can sometimes be available on the Terran Trade Authority Facebook Group or Ebay, it is worth taking these offerings with a pinch of salt as due to the relatively rare nature of the books, scammers have been known to target these locations.
